The Thunder Hawk Singers

Donald Blackfox, Founder of the Thunder Hawk Singers, formed the group in 2000 in Salem MA. Mark "Soaring Eagle" Ramponi, Laura " Bright Star' Vannah and Philip "Two Trees" Crosby are the original singers.

Their first CD Native Pride, featuring music from the Mi’kmaq and Northern Cheyenne nations, was awarded the 2009 Native American Music Award for Best Historical Recording at the Eleventh Annual Native American Music Awards, eight years after it was nominated for Best New Group of the Year in 2001. They have opened concerts for Joseph FireCrow & Douglas Spotted Eagle.
