In 2009, Spirit Wind Records produced “Rise Up: Music from Native America”, a CD that would benefit the homeless by providing support to homeless shelters. Songs from 21 well known native artists provided special tracks included from (in order of tracks on CD): Jan Michael Looking Wolf, Timo and White Buffalo, JJ Kent, Thunderhawk Singers, Evren Ozan, The Story Tellers, Benjamin Grimes, Michael Bucher, Mike Serna, Darryl Tonemah, Sacred Winds, Jeff Ball, Eagle and Hawk, Exitwound, Kelly Montijo Fink, Michael Longrider, Nightshield, Tim Yett, Sayani, Yolanda Martinez, and Felipe Rose.
