Inspired by decades of great guitarists and combining elements reminiscent of Hedges, Cockburn and Segovia, Strider’s performances leave the audience awestruck. His seamless transitions, numerous changes in tempo, and intricate picking style sound like half a dozen guitarists playing and not just a single supremely talented man and his Taylor. From complex instrumentals to simpler tunes with poetic, yet accessible lyrics, Strider’s vast repertoire has something for everyone. Strider’s 2009 CD, Meanings Within Meanings Within Meanings, was Nominated in the Best Debut of the Year Category at the Native American Music Awards. His second CD, Little Bird, was released in 2010. His instrumental CD will be available in spring 2011.
